Hostels
The International Youth Hostelling Association operates two clean, reasonably-priced hostels in Vancouver, both well-located for conference-goers. The downtown hostel is located right in the heart of Vancouver's gay and lesbian community about a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes by bus from the conference centre...only minutes from the bars and baths. The Jericho Beach hostel is located on beautiful Jericho beach, just 10 minutes by bus from the conference centre. (And about a ten minute walk to the bus-stop) The Jericho Beach hostel operates a free shuttle bus in and out of downtown Vancouver. Prices for the downtown hostel are $19 for members and $23 for non members. Prices for the Jericho Beach Hostel are $17.50 for members and $21.50 for non-members. The hostels book up well in advance during the summer so make sure you reserve early. Hostelling International BC has a secure on-line reservation system. You can access that, along with more information on their BC hostels, by going to http://www.hihostels.bc.ca

Billeting
We can't guarantee that everyone seeking a billet will find one here in Vancouver, but we'd like to help you find one. Click here to go to our "Billet Finder" message board and leave a message with your contact info. Local Bi folk visiting the BiNet BC site will be encouraged to visit this board and offer accommodation to visitors.
