“My latest movie isn’t about Bisexuality, per se, but practically all the major characters are Bi in some way, and they don’t make a big deal of it, and those are the kinds of characters I want to see in mainstream movies,” says Schickner, who is a bi-coastal activist of sorts, having been involved in Bi activism in New Jersey and now lives in Los Angeles. “This is the most Bisexual movie I’ve seen out in a long time,” he adds.
“Full Frontal” is a story that takes place in the adult film world and it focuses on the story of a promising independent filmmaker who ends up finding his niche in the porn world. Rather full of himself, the character named Anthony Rose, (played by Schickner) thinks his work is “art.” This pseudo-documentary-spoof shows a cacophony of characters on an adult movie shoot, and it shows how easily Anthony Rose’s “art” can unravel. Schickner, ironically, is spoofing his own foray into the adult world where he has won Best Bisexual Video in the Oscar of Porn, the GayVN Awards, twice for his Bisexual adult videos “Goosed” and “Goosed Again.” His “Encyclopedia Erotica” titles continue to be a best-selling Bi porn series, put out by his own distribution company Sell-0ut Productions. Also involved in “Full Frontal” is Bi writer Mike Szymanski, who is a co-producer and has a cameo in the film. Real-life Bisexual performers Tina Tyler, Vince Rockland, Sharon Kane, Paul Carrigan, Jeff Palmer, Drew Andrews, Peter Wilder and many others appear in the funny, erotic film which also stars mainstream actors such asKandeyce Jorden (“Star Maps”), Mark Hawkins and Christopher May. Also known for his Bi-themed first film “A Rose by Any Other Name,” Schickner has spoken at numerous Bisexual Conferences and was a keynote speaker at Los Angeles’ bi arts conference, BAFFLED (Bisexual Arts, Film Festival, Literature, Erotica & Drama).
